On the Road Again

This June, Moorfield will be touring the Benelux territories with local representative ST Instruments. In the back of the van will be a working nanoPVD-S10A system! If you are in the area, and would like a demo of a state-of-the-art high-vacuum magnetron sputtering system, at your location, then please get in touch.

Our Team is Growing

Fred Miccoci, originally from Rome, is our Production Controller and will be working to streamline procurement and shipping processes. Fred is also a lifelong Lego aficionado and an expert in tiramisu manufacture. Dan Grout, a graduate physicist from the University of Leeds, is our Systems Test/Installation Engineer and will be taking over product testing and site installations. Dan is also an ace climber and has travelled widely in search of the most challenging rocks.

Bloodhound SSC Completes First Public Event

The successful runs of BLOODHOUND SSC at Cornwall Airport Newquay on 26 October mark a major milestone in the BLOODHOUND Project, the main objective of which is to inspire the next generation to enjoy, explore and get involved in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

The Project’s Education Programme has already engaged with an estimated 2 million young people globally and has proved hugely successful in boosting the numbers of students applying to university to study engineering.

The World record 1000mph car’s rocket engine is being rebuilt in a Clean Tent CT1700, available from Moorfield’s division: Clean Environments.

Clean Environments offer a wealth of experience in cleanroom design and crucially, cleanroom use.

Over the past two decades Moorfield have developed a range of rapid-assembly, HEPA-filtered clean environment products, designed for low cost and for on-demand availability.
